Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was also a teammate as well as the captain of the Fierce Five in 2012 in addition to the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. Aly Raisman took home three gold medals during the 2012 Olympics, in London. She also took home a bronze on balance beam. In 2012, she became the very first American athlete to earn the most medals at the Olympics. In 2016, the Olympics saw her win gold in the team event. This earned Gabby and Gabby the distinction of being the only Americans ever to have consecutive team golds. She also won two silver medals in the floor and for an individual all-around. The break was for three years between each Olympics to not compete in gymnastics. She was also a part of the gold medal winning American teams at two World Championships. The gymnastics lessons she began at the age of two and her favorite event is floor exercise. Aly gives towards the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity to honor her late grandmother. In the future, she plans to make a career in fashion. She would also like to expand her line of leotards and socks. Fierce the new novel she is working on will be published sometime in the coming year.
